Waiting for a mass dawn ascent of balloons as part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, I photographed the soft colours of dawn above the suspension bridge in Bristol. As the day began, the wind picked up, and the balloons didn't go up, but at least I had witnessed a beautiful start to the day over the Avon Gorge.
